3D tools for visually handicapped people – Czech team

In our project Social entrepreunership  we tried to make two 3D tools for visually handicapped people.

We colaborated with students 4th grade students. We made two specific tables.

The first one it was a table for teaching of reading for blind persons. Our students worked in Tinkercad program – online free software. The table of reading for blind persons contains particular signs of Roman alphabet and corresponding grid of six points organized in the form of rectangle 2×3 centimetres. On each of these six points there is  o there is not the protruding spot (embossed). This is the way how to encode 64 alphabetical signs.  The blind reader  senses these signs by touch. The second tool is a table of various shapes (e. g.  rectangle, star, circle, etc.) The blind person can to identify these shapes. We donated these printed tables to blind citizens in our town.

Our students liked this activity and we would like to make a memory game called “pexeso“ for blind people.

Experience Base Learning: Lego MindStorm & Zoo Visit

One of the objetives of the DTSE Project is to develop the Tecnhological skills of our Students  and also to learn about the local cultural context for this reasons we make the  Experience Base Learning Activity  We were a very good professional trip in Nyiregyháza. It took 2 days. Formal and informal programs were very interesting and useful for students who learn logistics and business informatics tbcredit.ru.

The first day we visited Zoo and examed logistics in it. e.g. How do the zookeepers transport the victuals to the animals? How do they travel in the huge territory? e.t.c. How do the workers organise their work? During our trip, we saw a lot of wide animals too. We loved them. After the Zoo, we went to Levelek, where was our accommodation. This is a wonderful municipality near Nyíregyháza.

After an adventurous day, we went to the LEGO factory which was very amazing for us. Everybody was a child. We wanted to play with LEGO. The guide showed us how they made Lego. She talked about the factory’s history. And we saw the production process. At the and of the tour we played a little and everybody got a little pocket Lego. Also we learn about the LEGO Mind Strom

It was a perfect day with nice students.

Visit to the Museum of City Public Transport

Visit to the Museum of City Public Transport

In February our class had an opportunity to go on a one-day trip. We decided

to visit the Museum of City Public Transport in Szentendre. The aim of museum is to represent the history of public transport in Hungrian cities from the beginning until now.

First we visited the exhibition rooms, where we could see many photos of vehicles and employees of the past, read the story of public transport in different cities, and examine objects such as the old equipments of ticket inspectors, etc.

Next, we entered the reconstructed model of a smithy, where once vehicle repairs had been made.

Then came the best part of the exhibition: the beautifully restored vehicles of the past century.

We really enjoyed getting on them and trying the old seats.

This visit was not only entertaining but beneficial, too, as we learnt a lot about the development of transport logistics.

Jobshadowing in IES Playmar

I attended the IES Playmar jobshadowing in June 2018 in the Spanish town of Torremolinos, near the town of Malaga.

My main mentor was  ICT teacher Alfonso Ballesteros and Mr. Andrés Ángel González Medina, professor of economics .

During the six-day stay we discussed the hardware and software of our schools, the possibilities of financing the purchase of IT techniques and programs, the use of ICT in other subjects and the number of our own lessons of informatics in particular specializations.

During the stay we prepared many workshops .  The main focus was on teaching 3D programming, including

  • 3D printing / design workshop (Spatch),
  • Creating web pages (WordPress, Blogger),
  • Using the LibreOffice office suite for Entrepreneurship,
  • networking (Cisco OS) workshop.

Other activities include the development of cooperation in the field of international projects – Social Business (using 3D Printing, CLIL in the Economy) and International ICT Competition (a booklet of examples in printed and electronic form).

The communf interviewing students who worked on their project where they used ICT technology.

ication language was English and I also appreciate very much the possibility .

I gradually pass on the experience and knowledge transferred to my colleagues at our school and at ICT teachers’ meetings at trainings and conferences.
