6. Other Important Functions

The functions are key to management in all levels, from the entry positions to higher roles of management.

Furthermore, each five functions – planning, organizing, staffing, directing and controlling – are linked to each other. In order to use one function, you typically need to follow with another or have established one beforehand.

A good manager has to be able to keep an eye on all of the five functions, often at the same time, to guarantee productivity and profitability
