2. Organizing

According to Henry Fayol,

“To organize a business is to provide it with everything useful or its functioning i.e. raw material, tools, capital and personnel’s”.

It’s about using the plan to bring together the physical, financial and other available resources and use them to achieve the organizational goal.

Your objective as the manager is to provide your team or department the resources it needs to turn the plan into reality.

Organizing is a vital part of ensuring the company can function effectively and it concerns the day-to-day activities.

 Why is organizing essential?

While it might be difficult to work without a plan, it can be impossible for an organization to function without organizing. The function is vital because it ensures there is structure to the operations. You are aware of the resources and you ensure they are used in a manner that best helps the company to achieve its targets.

In terms of finances, organizing can guarantee you don’t waste money on functions that don’t provide the right results. By organizing the resources, you ensure operational efficiency and structure. Organizing puts the plan in action.
